I noticed last night when I went to my tank that the Serpant Star was hanging out next to it. I watched for a few and his arms were all over the place including parts of the coral. This did not look good so I got a piece of shrimp out of the freezer and coaxed him away from the coral. He was happy to take the shrimp. Today a few minutes ago I realized he was next to this new coral once again, I saw him moving away from it so I did not catch to see what it was doing with the coral. It looks like there might be a couple little polyps missing? I was told by several sites and of course the guys that sell them that these stars were reef safe and would not bother corals.

Is there an exception here?
B heres a word of advice to you....tell the girlfriend you love her very much and appreciate her buying things for your tank but NOT TO DO IT AGAIN. the last thing u need is for her to get something that isnt reef safe or is a hard coral to care for and either have to return it or it just die in ur tank. unless she is doing research on the corals but i would hold off buying anymore as ur tank is still in its infant stages.
