what is photoplan ? do you mean phytoplankton > feeding too much of that will deff bring red slime to your tank and all type of algae
If you have red slime , i would check your parameters. you may have high nitrates and phosphates. what other corals do you have in the tank , and how are they doing.
are you using RO water or tap , and if RO water , are you check your tds and changing the filters.
