I just did a water change today raising the salt level from 1.018 to 1.021 then I test it another area and my hydrometer reads 1.023.
Ronen, whats wrong with the crazy thing bro.
Let me know whats up, I am starting to panic.
Plus, my temp on the electric reads 76.2 but the hydrometer reads 90.
Is this Red Sea meter broken?

i highly doubt the filters have anything to do with this. i have my ro/di system for almost a year now and i JUST found out u have to flush the membrane. i have yet to change anything on the system as my tds meter still reads zeroes across the board.
my main concern is why the hell did ur salt level get so low? what kind of salt are you using? and how often are you doing water changes? as for the phytoplankton how much are you putting in your tank twice a week? i put phyto in my tank twice a week also and have no slime or anything else mentioned in the previous post. what size tank do u have? what are your parameters? have u even checked them yet? lots of questions for you to answer to get to the bottom of this problem.
