i dont htink its the skimmer. some peolple dont even use skimmers. nitrite and amoonia gotta go. if ur getting any readings with tirtes ammonia present then u have a bigger issue. it should read zeroes so if i were u id check my test kit and make sure those levels arent higher then what u r actually reading. what kit are u using and how old is it?
