I am glad that you have not had any problems. I am more interested in the tank being optimal so that growth and health are optimal. I was not putting down your tank parameters as we all know your corals are insane. What I am saying is this. I don't think it was the dosing that caused the problem. I think it was the low alk that may have. If you kept your tank at 12 DKH or 4.3meq/l you would never have a drop to 6 ever again and chances are that the lowest it would get would be around 9-10 unless you forgot or just stopped checking. At least at a 9-10 you are still pretty optimal and the corals would not be affected as much as they are at a 6.
