Keep it as a back up. If you can keep the temp stable with fans then go that route. Chillers will blow a ton of heat back into the room and in the end result may cause you to waste more electricity trying to cool the room.
My temp has been stable with the AC running at 70 on Energy Save mode. I cool the house and my tank stays at 77. I have to have a heater in there because it will go down to 72 if I don't watch it.
