can you get a pic of the complete sump from top view , so we can see what may be causing the bubbles

the red stuff , is red slime , it could be from , over feeding , nitrates and or phosphates. It would go away that fast. it takes time , some times 2 months with WC and changing out the media.

What i did to reduce growth when i had a problem , is shut the lights for 4 days. i did 5 gal WC about 2 of them , in the 4 days the lights were off. it help alot , but not the solution, just wanted to get control of clearing it from the tank
Well, the lighting is on only when I get home, so that's about 2 hours of lighting for the day.. and I just did the 50% WC, and when I got home that day, I see all the red slime thing.. And I only feed a little right now...
As for the Phosban, at first I got it connect it wrong.. and then I correct it, the center one is connect it to the pump, and the side one is return it to the sump.. right.. I will try to get a pic tonite when I get home...
