Default 4 Hours Ago,,,,,,,,,,,,

,,,,,,,,,,,, these were an Orange/Brown color sitting in a tank at the LFS, beggging me to by them at $40. Believe it or not, I was hesitant to buy them as I was thinking they might color up to a decent Reddish/Orange. I really like this little store andd the owner is very good to me so i bought it. It was a 3 hr ride home, as I had one more job to do on my way back to the house. I temp acclimated it and it started to open up right away. It is Blue and Purple in my tank. So far I count 26 polyps :danc although many are very small.

My track record with Yuma's runs hot and cold, I hope these do well in my tank.

The place is called Red Sand in Dunellen NJ (central NJ). It;s a fairly new store, but everytime I go there he gives me good prices, I sent a friend there the other day and he had to thank me for finding a place with such great deals.

Unfortunately most of them melted. About 5 of them are hanging on, I would only give it 50/50 on the rest making it though. I just recently moved some things around to get them in a more shaded spot wih less flow.

I have had to make a shaded area in my tank for all my new rics. They all go there to start now. That and instead of the light sitting on the tank with legs, its hanging above it so I can move it up more.

sucks to have anything melt, I feel your pain brother, hope the rest make it.

I knew when I bought them, I was taking a chnce with a Wild Colony. Plus it's really somewhat my fault for not rearranging the rockwork earlier to make a shaded spot for them. I had them under a Toadstool which blocked a bit of light, but obviously not enough of it.
