Here's My DIY stand for my 90 FOWLR
I'm waiting on the acrylic i just bought to finish up the filter but figured I'd post some in process pics. It used to be an old brick planter (apparently it was hot on the late 50's) so I decided I'd build an in wall fish tank once I'm done it will be a divider for the entryway and the living room. I'll post more pics through the process. But here's where I'm at now.
Thanks for looking! More to follow.

Looks good so far, are you custom building the tank and sump out of acrylic or just the sump?

Thank you for posting! I am planning on building my fowlr a better stand, but didn't want to use 4 X 4, and this pic has helped me to better invision what it is that I want to do.
I have two concerns with your build. 1) Which I am sure you were going to address anyway, but just to be sure. Are you moving that electric box, or is that going to be outlets for your equipment?
2) Are you sure you want the tank up that high? You must be very very tall.

Okay to answer a couple questions. The tank is a a AGA 90G non RR. But I'm custom building the sump out of 1/4" acrylic. I'll try to take come pics of the process once I begin doing still waiting on the acrylic.
That Electrical box controls the porch light and the light for the room the tank is dividing. So with that said I will be moving it. However I will also be running a new electric line back there for the lights and pumps and whatnot.
The tank has to be that high for 2 main reason. The first reason and the most important reason is because it's now directly in the main entryway of my house, when people walk in I want it to be eye level. The bottom of the tank will be 4ft 2in the top of the tank will be 6ft. so someone who's 6ft 2 will be able to look right in the tank without bending over. 2nd reason is I needed room for my sump as is right now there's only 22 inches because of that planter. So my quest for a protien skimmer has been a bit difficult Right now I'm thinking my only option is to plumb one in and drop it into the planter.
I'll take more pics tonight when I get home if you guys are interested.

Thanks for taking the time to answer the ?? posted.
From the pick it looked like the tank was going to be much much higher then your numbers. I am also building my stand about 4" taller then the one it came with. My reason is so that if the couch gets moved the tank won't have to be moved as well. I want the tank to stand taller then my couch for obvious reasons.
I can't wait to see your system all done! By the way have you looked at the Turboflotor skimmer with an Oceanrunner PH2500 pump, rated upto 250 gallons, extremely versatile (in sump, plumbed, hang on tank or sump), and inexpensive. Works fine in my 155 mixed reef, but then again point is I don't have sps but 2 caps & one huge one given to me by a friend.

I don't know much about skimmers at all I'll be the first one of my friends to ever use one. So I'm not aware of what ones are good and which ones are bad but I'll take all the advice I can get.

There are skimmers from the very inexpensive (under $100)to the very high end ones (several thousands of dollars). My Turboflotor Multi, is towards the lower end price wise ($250 or so), but it works great in my system.
This is a pic of it running dry on my old system:
It doesn't pull that much since I changed RO/DI, and I was doing 40g w/c weekly. Know I do about 30g biweekly.

any rock that gos thru shipping is no longer cured there is always die off after 5 day in shipping. so yup. i would
Plus to be honest with you ,rock that is in a tank or ocean that that is cured and gets shipped is pre-cured as well. basically its rock that was once cured and keep moist for less die off
