Default Skimmer Choice

I've been searching for a new skimmer to re-establish my 120 reef tank. There are so many choices that it's mind boggling after awhile of searching..

I think I've narrowed it down to the Aqua C EV-180, or the Precision Marine Bullet 1.

Any suggestions on which is better or if there's something else that's better for the money?

look into the i-tech cones...
they are $300 for the small one(not including pump)
you can check them out on them out on
i-techskimmers.com

theres a big thread on it on RC also...
they will reccomend or sell you the proper pump for the different size cones/

I had the EV-180 and now have a EV-400. I really like them and totally recommend them! Tech support is fantastic.

My advice - get a bigger pump than Aqua C recommends. I ran my 180 with a mag 7 - it worked fine but not impressive. Went up to the mag 9.5 and it rocked! Put a valve on the pump to dial it in and you will be set!
