You proposed to one of your fish? j.k. Congrats on your engagement. Your fiance likes your hobby?

Do you have to give up the hobby now or is the bike going first

She actually is quite impressed with the hobby, has gone on many maintenance calls with me, regularily cleans our tank at home and loves all the fish we have.

Only took me another 15 months to get here for a update lol but hey thats what happens when your busy....tanks gone through lots of changes...sat emtpy for a long time, then ran as a predator fish only for a long time with some stingrays, large triggers and puffers.... Finally decided to get back to what I enjoy the most and set the tank back up in reef mode so I removed the canopy, got rid of the massive metal halide fixtures and took the LED plunge...Hoping over the next few months to start stocking up some large colonies so Ill finally be making my rounds at all the local fish stores again looking for those choice pieces. Looking forward to reconnecting with some old friends on here as I have been absent from this community for too long.

Yes that is about a 40lb GSP Colony, one huge rock that is a great cave for the fish plus its isolated so the GSP can actually be contained...

Sad to say he did not make it, my Magnificent Foxface and my new Blue Hippo are both doing fantastic...Unsure as to reason for loss other than acclimation difficulty...Although he was eating like a champ and pretty active...

I think the fact my Yellow tang and Scopas tang were both picking at him fairly often may have just been to much stress.

Sorry to hear,

Yeah, that's why I was asking, these guys as well as powder brown and powder blue are hard to acclimate.

Once you get them going past their initial shyness and feeding they are great....but how many die in the process.
