Default gsago1979's 210 build

Ok so after many months without my display tank...I finally picked up this new one on Sunday morning with quite a bit of help from my friends...

Also here is a great photo of the new advertising logo magnets I had made up for my work truck...

Their will be many posts in this thread over the coming months while I complete this build, I am tearing my whole frag system and fish room apart and completing my dream build this time around...so it will be lengthy...bear with me while I go through this as it will take sometime to complete.

Here are some more pics from the owner that show the stand and canopy..they are both being sandblasted this week to get cleaned up. They will be stained a nice mahogany color when all is said and done.

Good for you Greg, you deserve it. Looking forward to a great and lenghty build process. Don't skimp on picttures.

I think you should cut off some legs from that stand just to get more access.....lol

Seriously, that stand is great, speaking of access to everything; just awesome. Working around it should be a breeze.

Greg, where is the banner for your business? Come on now, lets get you some links, it helps with SEO.

Darn thats not it..Hmm, I have it at home..Ill send it to you this evening when I get off work..

The 40g breeder stand is in use for a client of mine..or I should say was purchased by a client of mine...

Build Update #1: 10gallons of white vinegar are now sitting inside the tank softening all the coraline algae that had built up on the base of the tank...Will clean and scrape out this evening...

I was wondering how you're doing with this project....but cutting down height....why would you do that?

The wall that the tank sits behind goes into my sub basement, this tank is not a true reef ready instead it is drilled so my plumbing has to come out the back of the tank. I am wanting the tank flush against the wall so I have to run the plumbing through the dry wall into the sub basement. Their is a height difference between the two rooms and I have to be able to run the drains through the wall into the basement without hitting the ceiling in the sub basement. Hence lowering the stand height.
