I got a couple of questions...
A) is it normal for something like that to continue splitting so many times??? I read somewhere can't remember where that when bta's split often its because the environment they're in is not good. They're trying to reproduce that much so the mother colony doesn't die.

Guys, I love you all. But I do have a small RBTA that I received from a DBTC on another site which suits my tank even better. I'm sure once it grows a little my clowns will be just as happy.

Lets let the boy make his sale.

Yes, Rob you have read correctly. That is one of the many theories out there on why bta split frequently. I hope I didn't make a mistake in selling the original to Zuska.

Here is one of the ones I was able to find. There was another one which was alot more detailed but I don't feel like wasting my time.

So as you can see it can go either way. They split for different reasons including from stress, or from being content "propitious circumstances".

"Clones and asexual fragmentation of different degrees can result in the replication of many individuals from one. This can be a natural event, w/ no input from the hobbyist themselves... derived from either too much stress, or propitious circumstances."
