I really like the IC Gel, simple straight forward. I don't feel the need to use an accelerator.

That's the one I use too.You will find that most people use it.If I ever run out I use loctite's crazy glue gel available at Home Depot. It's ok if you need some glue right away but it is a smaller sized tube.

I used to use regular krazy glue gel until I tried the Boston Aquafarms glue. Krazy Glue gel works but I found it to be more expensive in the long run compared to the Boston Aquafarms glue. There was a time when my wife used to say we need to buy stock in krazy glue

The best deal on glue is at hobbytown USA. I get a 2.0 oz bottel for $10.00 and I will glue well over 200 frags with it. You want the Maxi, it is the thickest, not gel but it works very well.

any glue that only contains ethyl cyanoacrylate is suitable for frags. the gel versions are better because its thick and stays were u put it. lucky for us its catalyst is water so it instantly bonds underwater. the only thing is that when mixed with sodium bicarbonate which is in all reef tanks it gets hot so the less u use the better for the frag. also u might want to turn the flow off in the tank this way fish wont get their mouths glued shut as it may fly around the tank with the flow on.

I will find it or take a pic of mine... It is easy to find. It is with all of the glues.
it is (insta-cure+) gap filling 5-15 second cynoacrylate

How long do you have to let the glue sit before you let go of the frag. I was helping a friend using IC-Gel, but the glue wouldn't hold unless we used a whole of the stuff and it didn't stick in the water.
Maybe we used it wrong

I put a little glue on the plug and hold the frag to it for a few seconds, no more than 10. I then place it in a small bowl filled with water and let it remain in there for about 2 minutes before placing it into the tank. Sometimes if necessary I will prop up the frag against something to hold it in place while the glue dries.
