If the levels are normal no need to add anything , Just check an dose accordingly

So ill bust them a bit more
So your question is why they dont tell you what to do? Or what you should do
You should not dose if not needed , test before and after dosing anything in your tank , Including water changes ,No matter what

I would test twice a week until you are sure your tanks para stay or uses the same amount of cal and alk , just in case. ALso test for magnesium tht plays a factor on keeping alk and cal stable , Mag should be at 1500

to figure out when to test you first have to figure out when to dose. ( daily, bi-weekly,weekly etc.)
after that you can probably just check it every two weeks then once a month.
what I would do is get your parms up to where you want them. (already done)
1)do not add any supplements for two days (except replacement water for evap)
2)test
3)if no change in parms repeat step #1
4)test
5) if parms drop - bring back up to normal
this will tell you aprox when you need to add alk.calc, mag and how much. in this example every 4 days you would need to add a supplement to keep levels normal.
(you might find that you need to check the calc and alk bi weekly and mag monthly or what ever.)
silicone.. Deepwater is correct. it will be labeled 100% silcone DO NOT use bathroom window silcone that contains anything like mildew inhibitor, or other additives that give it color. I think it's called "GE silicone II" in HD or Lowes

You've gotten great advice here. I'm not one for running test. And last night while observing my tank I noticed something odd, the coraline that is growing on the overflows started to degrade(changing from deep purple to lilac at the top, working its way down I imagine). Went and checked my doser, and the solutions. Doser is fine, alk bottle is almost full, and the cal bottle was empty. I turned off the doser until I refill the cal, and checked par this morning sure enough the calcium level had dropped to 380. So this morning I added a little extra cal. solution, refilled the cal bottled, and turned the doser back on.
Yes, I know just because I have an automate system does not mean I should slack off. Learned my lesson!!!
I would ONLY use the aquarium quality silicone..
