Default Question about nano skimmer

I have a question. I have a fission nano skimmer, and i have notice a good amount of micro bubbles flowing through the tank. Also under the skimmer there is a peace of live rock, probably about 8 inch down. Under th rock there is an accumilation of larger bubbles. Is all of this normal or safe? Also my fish like to hang around the skimmer area aswell. Can somebody help with this?

Definitely safe but i can't comment on normal. I don't have any experience with that skimmer but you should be able to "dial it in" so that microbubbles are at a minimum. As to the bubbles on the LR that could be many things:
cyano algae
just microbubbles collecting to form larger bubbles.

Certain foods can also cause skimmers to bubble more than normal. IE in a system without microbubble problems certain foods can cause the salt water to become more prone to bubbling. This can cause a skimmer to create microbubbles that otherwise would not. Unrinsed frozen food can be such a culprit.

Dont those micro bubbles annoy the fish or can cause 'bubble ' eye if one caught by eye?

I had same problem with my skimer 250 which is a weak "skimmer" but I improvised it as to stop those bubbles the fish hated them but not as much as I did.

just a piece of advice, drop that skimmer. I had it for a few weeks, and it would only produce smelly microbubbles, nothing would go in the collection cup, adnt ehy just took up space. go with something better, wht size tank do you have?

anyways, for the short term, you are going to want to put two of those microbubble sponge pads, which should completly eradicate your bubble issue.
