I was running VHOs before and just kept LPS and softies and i upgraded to an 8 bulb Current t5 fixture. i've since added sps and they r all doing great and my Nepthea have brightened up a lot under the more intense light.

thats cool man, i am big beliver of T5's so it makes me glad to see how good other peeps tanks are under them.

good for you....just checking. Nephia is actually more expensive than green sinularia. Both fantastic looking soft corals because most softies are just drab in color. When I had a large colony of green sinularia it used to glow like crazy in my tank. I don't remember what exactly fell on it but it started turning black at the tip, next thing you know and the whole colony was gone. I used to chop frags off of it like crazy, now I have one miserable frag to start over. Surpisingly enough while this coral did extremely well and doubled and triple in size in weeks in my setup, it wasn't doing good in all but one of my friends tank. He is the one who returned a frag for me to recover.
