that is awesome.. nice shot man! you rarely get to see what the moon looks like except for on TV.. That is really kool!

That's awesome. I noticed that you were not able to capture the stars. Also, it's so black around the moon that I can only imagine a pitch black surface on the other side.
How do you land on a pitch black surface? Must be some powerful floodlights? And the Moon's surface facing the Sun must be as bright as a light bulb!

There are 3 ways of seeing things ~ 1st with the left eye , 2nd with the right eye and last with both eyes ~

Thanks Guys. I use a d200 with a total magnification of 340mm. I want to catch it one day when it's low and huge. I can't get close enough right now. What you see is a crop. I was also waiting for some clouds to roll by and give it that halloween look, but no luck.
