Default The QT and the Clown

Here are pictures of my QT I just set up for my sick clown, I tried to photgraph the clown as well but it is difficult to shoot with my crappy cannon Digital Elph. If anyone has any QT suggestions I would be happy to here them...

Put some PVC or something that the clown can hide in. Makes them feel secure.

Sad to say that even the PVC and the nudie book were not enough to save my dear clown...thanks for the advice though all...

Sorry to hear that. Next time try to keep some live rock in there to make it feel secure and less stressed.

Are you planning on running it all the time? I find that sometimes we set them up when we see sick fish but then the tank also goes through a cycle in the process, so it adds to the stress level. By running it continously, the bacteria will always be present.

Wait, that is only for fish right? You didn't treat with copper? Copper is a no no with corals. Please make sure.

There was no treatment put into the QT at all...So no there is no copper in there, also after the clown passed, I drained tank and fully cleaned and dried, I am going to transfer another 9 gallons over from my main tank again tonight before I move the corals over...
