Default Amazon.com

Has anyone ever used them? Is it a safe site? I found a camera pretty cheap that I would like to buy, but know nothing about them.

I've heard of them, I just don't know anything about their reputation. Nor do I know anyone who used them. This is why I asked about how safe they are, for a site as big as theirs, I would have thought I know someone who used them by now and I didn't, until you answered.

amazon.com itself is good, never had issues with anything I bought directly from them.
If you plan on getting a camera from one of the new/used businesses/people that use amazon.com to sell (similar to businesses/people selling on ebay) then of course it's a bit more risky, but I've never had a problem there either (but do check feedback/ratings/etc).

I've bought from them directly and quite a few of the businesses that sell using them for the past...6-8 years! It's also where I go to double check what is a good price, reliable reviews, and what items I could consider are competition for a product to help me compare items I'm interested in.

I agree.. make sure its from amazon.com and not a retailer
I would also try slickdeals.net. they have alll the best deals listed by their users..

I wouldn't trust those resellers that list by themselves. Allot of times especially cameras are gray market or overseas.
If you do get make sure it's from amazon and not a reseller.
