South Florida Residents - READ THIS
Just as a warning to all of the Florida residents up to the Broward County Line. Tropical Storm Ike, currently at 70 mph winds, could be the big one coming at us. It is forecast to pass over us on either Sunday or Monday, with the effects lasting until Tuesday.
If it does hit us, it will be a Category 3 hurricane, which is around 130 mph winds. This is a potentially devastating hurricane, so everyone should start taking precautions now.

5:00 Advisory came out...lets just hope the 5-day track is wrong...
It will be a strong Cat 3 when it hits, what seems to be right above Miami. Just keep an eye on this storm everyone...

K guys, I say that it is time to start preparing now, and even plan evacuations if you need to get out, or are in mobile homes.
Hurricane Ike is already a category 3 storm with winds of 115 mph, and gusts up to 140 mph. The path still takes it right on to Miami, but lets hope that changes. It is projected to be a strong Category 4 after it crosses out of the Bahamas, so lets hope that changes as well...
