Just wanted to say thank you to the staff of RC for bringing the shout box back . Your hard work has not gone unnoticed

Our intention was to bring it back all along but we were trying to find a way to prevent derogatory statements from being displayed within it. There were complaints of foul language, derogatory and other unacceptable posts that were often entered in the middle of the night and available for view until the early morning hours. After unsuccessful attempts to come up with a way to prevent the negative posts we finally decided to put the shout box on its own page thus removing it from the home page. At least this way any derogatory posts won't be easily available for view. We apologize for any inconveniences it has produced and hope our membership understand our intentions.

censors that run on the shoutbox are going to take up a ton of the systems resources, as well as being easy to pass by/worthless. There really is no censor that is fully functioning at all.
