I see it all the time, I even have some on a rock I bought in Tallahassee, (Carol's Critters rocks!), but I am pretty sure it is protected by Florida law so I don't touch it in the wild. It is just as well too, the amount of poaching from tourists and even residents is enough to reduce this stuff, never mind if it were legal. The other day I was diving over a ricordea patch, and found it all gone.
When mine grows out a bit I can frag some for you is you want. It is kind of an ugly brown looking one, with one "stalagtite looking thing" growing up from it. I had originally thought it was some kind of slime, until I noticed its firmness.
