Default kh recommendations

what is the best level of kh?
is there a way to control it?

Oh wow , i missed this thread too ,,

I keep my alk at 9 ( 2.5-3.5 meq/l) .. i use randys to part . which is home made esv b-ionic 2 part

Yeah NSW is between 7-11 dKH. Depending on your system is the level you choose. I had mine at all diffrent I started at 11 and let it drop very slowly to 7. I found that when it was at 9.9 My sps looked best. @ that point you either hook up a calcium reactor or a dosing pump w/ a 2-part. And please very important dot forget to have your Magnesium at 1380ppm HTH
