Default Seahorses

It looks like I'm getting some seahorses this weekend if all goes right. I've wanted some for quite some time now. Looks like I'm going to have to plumb another tank into my system.

I would love to keep them in the same tank as the Pipes and Gobies, I'm afraid there is too much current in there for them. I have a cube tank that has been sitting around for a while, it looks like I'm going to finally put it to use!

I'm getting 2 Hippocampus Kelloggi's.

Good luck, with that dude.

Yea, low current, and plenty of macroalgae is a must for those guys. im sure if you ask john maloney, he should have some nice algae if u dont have some. he has some of the red macro, and it looks amazing.

Macro's are not necessary for SH's. I'm not a big fan of Macro's, they just get out of hand quickly, although I did see a couple on John's site that were cool looking. I'll be sure to see that they have plenty of hitching posts. I have'nt heard back if they are eating frozen, if not the tank will definately have to be plumbed into my existing system as I have Mysids everywhere, skimmer, reactors every chamber of the sump/fuge. I don't see many inthe DT, but there has to be plenty in there too as the Pipes are nice and healthy.

breed em out dave! The flame algae is a slow grower. Easy as hell to keep as well.
