I use cyclopeeze maybe twice a week, and the corals and fish love it. Also use it in my freshwater tank with the Firemouth Cichlids. It brings out the coloration in anything, fish, corals, you name it.

Good question, I think most frozen foods have some form of Phophate as a preservative in them.

Not sure if the amount we feed will do any damage. How much of it can you feed. and if you feed lots then you have a big tank with a big skimmer and phosphate reactor so i dont think that would do it.
silver sides and big frozen shrimp without rinsing would do more with raising PO4 in tank then the bit of cyclop we feed . jmo

dont think theres any way to find that out becuase the levels will vary between the individual organism, therefore each batch would be different. Guess it's time for a hanna meter and then a bigger skimmer

One of the best if not the best frozen food you can buy. Everything and anything would eat it. Great nutrition in small package. Highly recommend it. I feed at least twice a week, more if I remember.

There is not enough PO4 to do anything to your tank unless it is like 2 gallons and you feed every day.. besides you would have more trouble with nitrates before phosphates. Don't even worry about it.. And I don't know why you guys feed your tanks every single day. Fish will be fine if you feed them a couple times a week ( depending on load ) and will survive just fine with the pods in the tank, algae and whatever else they can find over a two week period if you felt so inclined NOT to feed them for a couple weeks.
The fish are fine... Feed less and you won't even have to worry about nitrates or phosphates at all..

I have a big bar of cyclopeeze in my freezer I use to feed this stuff to my sea horses and Black Sun Polyps, lately its just for my Gorgonians, but now after reading this article I am going to put some in my reef tank and see what the fish and corals think of it...
