Rod has a new website...
Rod's Food - The Complete Reef Food

It has a map of all the stores that sell his food. If you can't get it near you have your LFS start ordering it....

For the record I am in no way affiliated with Rod, just a loyal customer.

Being that I do not have access to any ready made foods or any equipment for that matter, I have been using finely chopped and/or blendered "mysis" shrimp to feed my corals as the vast majority of the food available within plankton are copepods, and being shrimp like, I figured that shrimp would be a good alternative. I also culture copepods in an outdoor phytoplankton vat as well as netting swarms of pods out in the shallows as well for a once a week treat of actual live plankton. I also on occassion, siphon out the detritus that collects in the sump's baffles and squirt that back onto the corals as well.

Yeah, after seeing what must amount to tons of it drifting about on the reefs here, I had asked Eric Borneman about its use within my system and having been told what it actualy is made up of, it seemed a waste to not put it back into use once in awhile. That and there are a good many other critters that benefit as well.
