hi just wondering can acan aussie grew on a regular 48 watt PC lighting?

I have a wonderful Agent Orange Crush Aussie that was obtained from pnoy. I have 27 watt 10k and 27 watt actinics on the tank for 6hours whites and 10hours actinics, so for 6 hours a day I have 6 watts per gallon and for the 2 before the white and 2 after I have 3.

The Aussie is doing just fine. Granted it is not as colorful as it might be with higher lighting but it is growing just fine and I love it.

Yes you can the only thing is not you will not get a good coloration on it. I have some acans in my main tank and aussie on my frag tank and they don't look the same on color but same in growth...

I have a purple one that is under 2 20K Radiums and 1 10K Iwasaki (250W) and it looks AWESOME..... id jump up and go with something like that if you can...
