Default D.A.S BX1 protein skimmer $200

DAS BX-1 Skimmer w/pump DAS BX

DAS BX1 protein skimmer IN SUMP only $200 Its about one yr old , works great ,It reatails for $319 plus shipping

The DAS Skimmers are the most efficient skimmers in the market today. They use a German patented technology in the construction of the impeller assembly. It creates a water to air mixture that is unparalleled. Each pump injects 110 GPH of air into 280 GPH of water. Simply stated, every 2.5 gallons of water that passes through the skimmer comes in contact with 1 gallon of air. For the in-sump models (BX-series), no other feeding pump is needed. Just place it in your sump and plug in. The in-sump models have a removable carbon chamber that holds up to 1 liter of carbon or other media if you wish. All water traveling through the skimmer passes through it. As the water exits the skimmer, it passes through a foam pad which eliminates any bubbles from getting into the sump.

SKIMMER SOLD TO TIM

I ran the skimmer thru vinegar for a few hrs , clean the puppy up to the best i can , packed in one of the boxes i recieved corals in with peanuts ,new paper and perishable and glass written on the box. Ill have a label made later today and send you the total of the bal. im also sending the extra pump for $20 right. Hope so cuz i packed it already LOL

One thing i need to let you know. THe applebee pumps have a flap that im not sure which direction its to be pointing. Since i cleaned the skimmer and had back flow it may have moved , this flap play a big roll in the way the skimmer works. , its located in the out take of the pump and just a rubber falp that can be move from right to left

If you dont know where its located on the pump , lmk and ill get you a pic of the net other wise the skimmer is in almost new condition.

Default Alaska reefers

There are quite a few of us up here. No chillers needed. I have 2 reefs. A 42g and a 120g. Biggest problem up here is the cost of shipping. Next day delivery is a pain we learn to live with.

Deepwater, thanks. I will check in on Wednesday and send you money for shipping asap. Again, if you can ship it 2 day or even next day fed ex that would be great. I am used to paying the extra. My reef has been without a decent skimmer since Dec. 15. It is crying for a skimmer. Remora pros are great but not meant for a 120g tank. Other skimmer went to the big skimmer home in the deep. Thanks
