Pnoy's Holding tank finally!
First of all I want to say thanks to Dave ( Psychographic ) for doing everything to make this work and doing all the work. He knows how busy I am. Thanks Dave and you know that ... You will be rewarded in the end. This planning of the holding tank was on hold for almost a month due to equipment and "DUE TO MY WIFE"S SCHEDULE" . We can only work on it when wifey is not home .Finally I can see this running this coming week and only need a few more to get it up and running but glad to see that its 90% done...
Here is the current pics of my 180g . I know it looks like crap and looks like a 180g frag tank. I have sold all sps colonies and some I have kept a frag . The hardest part is how will I fit majority of the one's I really want to keep on a 36x24x8inches .. Majority will be Aussies maybe top 10 sps, top zoas and Chalices .Some Dave will hold for me .. anyway...
Now the Holding tank :
36x24x8 inches
250w 12AQ Ocean light Pendant (20k helios on the way )
mag 12 Pump for return
Terminator II Skimmer
55g Sump/Refugium
Dave working on making the Stand..
Bent PVC looks hot!
Skimmer plumbing another bent PVC
Side Shot
Famous Sump
Finish product
Thanks ALL... and Once again thanks Dave...

Very Nice frag tank dude , You will be amazed on how many corals you can fit in a cube frag tank. You will probably be able to fit all your frags and then some. Its nothing like a main display , unless you are keep all your rock in there . Awesome set sup , great work dave !!

It's getting there Steve.
I cant take credit for all of it, the plumbing for the drain was already on the tank as well as the fitting for the return. I just plumbed from the sump to the skimmer and return and a short piece off the drain. I need to find a longer spring with a 3/4" OD, the one I used was only about 6" long which made the radius of the bends to tight and they have a little bit of buckling in them. It's not enough to restict any flow, but it could look nicer with a larger radius, at least there are no 90 degree fittings impeading the flow.
Just a note to all, if you have a battle between a pane of 1/8" glass and a 3' length of 3/4" PVC, the PVC WILL win. I cracked the side of the intake baffles when the tubing slid out of the tee to the skimmer and well, you can guess the rest. bar

I have a 48*24*10 tank as part of my freshwater setup and let me tell you, these low tanks are the best. I know it doesn't relate here but I have about 4-6" of water and all the plants are growing/blooming out of the water. My dream setup is 60x60x16 or larger in the middle of a large hallway in my own house. One day, one day.....

i stopped at Steve's last night and replaced the piece of glass I broke and glued the PVC together. Now it just needs water, electric and frags.
