Guess what guys I did my own rock work, and coral placements by myself this trip around. So now I can say it is "my" creation.

The mesh in the tank is a seaweed feeding contraption. I took a piece of netting folded it in half, sewed up the sides, Then I took an algae clip, and glued it to a small mag cleaner. I put the sheet of nori in the net pocket clip with the algae clip, put it in the tank, and the fish go to town. No more huge sheets of algae floating in the tank that eventually got stuck to the overflows.

I also purchased 3 acans from Coral Theory in Brooklyn, but can't post them cause they haven't opened. Once they get used to my lights, and open back up. I think my MH are to bright for them so they are closed up. Moved them into the shade.

I like the sympodium piece. That looks like some clove polyps I recently aquired. One and the same or am I looking at it wrong.

Awesome additions, the chalices alone are super nice, not to mention the SPS.

Thank you Puffer! Read below.

"Not to be confused with the “Blue Clove” polyps"

Sympodium encrusting soft coral starting to appear in blue and green colors

Bio, not to mention that 2 of those chalices were gifts. How cool is that!!!

Started with the need of mag. supplement in Nov.,2011, Dec.,2011 moved up to ALK & Cal..
January 28, 2012 had to start dosing all 3 ~ mag, alk & cal.
Now as of February 12, 2012 to the 16th. I was dosing all three every evening. As of the 17th. I had to step it up to twice daily.
Mag 45ml, Cal 30ml., Alk 10ml
Trying to keep pars at the following numbers.
Mag 1350
Alk 8dkh
Cal 450

Really wish I hadn't sold my doser! After 4 yrs. I thought I'd never have to dose.
Approaching the 5 year tank's birth....
