Default I have finally returned!

It's been a really long wait, but I have finally returned to the hobby! I give you, the first of many pics to come, my 12g nanocube!

imgur: the simple image sharer

As you can see, my diatom bloom...which excites me. I can better watch the progress of my cycle now! I currently have 2 hitchhiker emerald crabs (sorry again gsago ) some aiptasia, some tiny mushrooms, some anthelia, and a couple small zoa frags. Other than the zoa frags, all the rest hitched a ride from gsago's house.

Glad to have been able to get you back up and running Kamikaze...I know how long that Nano has been sitting in waiting for life...once its fully cycled stop back by and well get you some more frags to fill some spaces.

Will do! I'm too excited right now! It sat there unopened until I was ready to put that sand, rock, and water in it.

Good to hear from people who were giving up; one can never leave this hobby. Yes, some take brakes, but eventualy come back; it's addictive!

I knew I'd return. The 12g nano cube I'm using, I've had sitting, unopened for 3-4 years. Even when giving away and selling all my other saltwater stuff, this tank sat patiently, knowing it was going to be used.

That's like me, holding on to a lot of equipment until I move to a larger place.

These are some of the frags I just got this weekend from a friend that's stripping his tank. I'll do a full tank shot soon.

More pictures to come. My cycle was almost finished, then a friend gave me a ton of stuff so he could get out of the hobby sooner than later. So, I have restarted the cycle....with a tank full. UGH! So, I'll get more pictures when things settle down...or crash so I can show everyone, again, what not to do. ha!

So many people getting out of the hobby its not funny. It's all temporary anyway; you cant leave it for long. Of course you can't complain about all the cheap equipment available

Most come back bigger and stronger.

Be patient Kami, don't rush anything and you'll be happy with results. In the mean time, post some pics.

Other than rushing to drop the free stuff in the tank, I'm not rushing ha. That's like saying I'm not driving my car hard, I only race it on the weekends.

And yes, pictures soon. I just want to give it time to stabilize more first. I'm refusing to clean anything or do anything more than top offs and water changes until the tank clears itself up. I want it to naturally clear up so I'm not chasing my own tail on mystery problems for the next 2 years.
