Mine is growing fairly fast. When I can, I'll give you a frag.

I got mine from Mr. Coral a couple of months ago. It was in bad shape when I got it, some tissue degeneration during shipping. I thought these shipped better than the common Xenia's, but i guess not. It has healed and is growing well and getting some color, but it has yet to open it's tentacles more than in this pic.

Workn, can you give some details as to what conditions you keep yours? Lighting, flow, etc.

Yup. You have to view it from the right angle to see the blue and the sparkle of it.

I do have some but notice most of you are on the east coast. I did ship a bunch to UberFrags (John) a while back. If you want to wait till the weather warms up I'd be happy to sell you frags, just kinda cold and xenia's are already poor shippers.

Oh, I've seen some really sick Zoa in this forum. If any of you have some to trade I'd be up for that as well.

There are 2 types I know of Bali/Indo and the original E. African strains. The Bali Stuff is coming in more often and I've seen some in the LFS in CA. on my last visit but it does not compare to the E. African strain. I have the E. African strain which I've been proping for almost 5 yrs. now.

I keep mine under 250W halides both 20K and 14K, obviously the 20K looks nicer. I have friends that keep them under T5's with just as good results. I just put some under 1000W - 20Ks to see how they respond growth wise. This is my fav. coral and I have sold lots to the people here in AZ and CA.

Water Quality, well some have said they can't keep it in an SPS low nutrient tank, well mine love their home in the SPS display, they do grow slower but they look great.

I will try and get some pics. today and post them here.

Vince

I'm in Florida so no worries here. Where are you located. How much are they?
