Default Yellow Fiji Leather still not acclimated

I got this frag from someone about a month ago and for the entire time its been looking pretty much like this. Polyps do extend a little bit sometimes and the coral will reach up towards the light some days. Every couple of days i push it back on the frag disk with my turkey baster since its not attached yet.

I really like this coral and hope it survives.

They are not an easy coral to keep. It will need good flow and somewhat stronger lighting then other softie coral. That one looks like a goner thou

I took it out of the tank to see if it smelt bad. There was a smell to it but it wasnt really bad. Should i try getting it higher up?
